Codemasters will soon release a new update for 'DiRT Rally' that will include support for PlayStation VR.
The upgrade allows PS4 drivers to experience every included vehicle, track, and discipline in virtual reality.
The DiRT Rally VR Edition expands the immersive DiRT Rally experience, encompassing classic Rally mode, Rally Cross, and Hill Climb, not only for active drivers but also adds a completely new Co-Driver mode. This brand-new feature allows a second player to participate as an active co-driver in their friends' exciting races, relaying pace notes from the main screen to the driver using the buttons and touchpad of the DualShock 4 controller. This way, the driver team experiences thrilling rally action just like in real life and has the opportunity to achieve realistic best times.

“The upgrade of DiRT Rally with PlayStation VR allows players to get even closer to the experience of a real rally driver. The addition of the co-driver game mode allows players to play and master a track together with a friend, thus enabling a significantly higher level of realism and immersion.”
The upgrade draws players even deeper into the world of rallying than before, allowing them to experience the world's most challenging rally tracks and group races at three FIA World Rallycross Championship venues using PlayStation VR.
