Bethesda today released another video for the stand-alone expansion 'Dishonored: Death of the Outsider', which focuses on the powers and weapons.
According to Bethesda, Billie Lurk differs from all other playable characters in the Dishonored world. She didn't pursue a career at court like the Imperial Protector Corvo Attano, nor was she born into a noble family like Empress Emily Kaldwin. However, there is a difference between her and Billie's mentor Daud, an assassin who was the focus of the DLC for the first Dishonored game.
Unlike the three playable characters previously, Billie Lurk does not bear the Outsider mark, but gains her supernatural powers in a different way. This makes a big difference in Dishonored: Death of the Outsider regarding her abilities, weapons, and tools.
"We felt that the person who wanted to take the Outsider's life would not bear his mark."explains Creative Director Harvey Smith, "Billie derived her powers from artifacts connected to the Nothing."
