Larian Studios has released a new DLC for 'Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition', which is now available on all platforms.
Order & Magic is the third free DLC and can be accessed via the in-game menu, where it can be individually activated and deactivated. This feature is also available for the previously released Gift Bags (Beauty Salon and Song of Nature).
The Gift Bag 3 DLC includes:
- Pet Power – “Pet Power” strengthens the Summoner class. This feature allows infusion spells to be cast not only on the player's incarnations, but on all summons. Each summon gains different abilities depending on the element underlying the infusion.
- Combat Randomiser – At the start of the battle, one or more randomly selected opponents will receive a new status. These were implemented specifically for this feature. This will change the players' combat experience, turning familiar battles into new challenges.
- Nine Lives (Black Cat+) – Turns the black cat into a follower. Once the cat is rescued, the player receives a whistle to summon it. The player can also choose which player the cat should follow.
- Improved Organisation – A selection of special bags allows for better (and more automatic) inventory organization.
- Sourcerous Sundries – In the most important hubs, a mysterious merchant appears who sells exotic and powerful artifacts. These artifacts can enhance a character's equipment and thus raise their level to match the player's.
- Hagglers – When negotiating with merchants, the reputation and negotiation skills of the entire party are taken into account. This means players no longer need to switch to the character with the highest skill before speaking to a merchant.
