Developer NOX NOCtIS has released a saving patch for their horror and escape room title. Do not open Released. This adds a much-requested feature.

True is Do not open Although only available for a few days, several gameplay issues were immediately apparent, such as the inverted Y-axis, which couldn't be changed. This has now been fixed. Additionally, other problems have been resolved, such as making enemies easier to spot.

Also important: the character voiceovers have been improved for better clarity, camera sensitivity has been added as an option, and much more. Overall, the patch promises a significantly better experience.

Patch notes

  • Enemy difficulty reduced, making it harder for them to see you.
  • The bug that prevented players from hiding in some chests and the bug that allowed the enemy to see them while they were in some chests have been fixed.
  • The bug that sometimes caused the enemy to disappear or become invisible has been fixed.
  • An additional explanation (drawing in the basement) has been added to help the player understand at the beginning of the game that the enemy appears when they fail.
  • The voice pitch of the main characters was raised.
  • Enemy pathfinding has been corrected, particularly around an instance where the enemy might run into a wall when finding a key.
  • The patch also added a camera sensitivity option.
