Although it has been in development for quite some time and, according to BioWare, is on a good path, the release of Dragon Age 4 this year is rather unlikely.
According to internal sources, one can see “no chance"That Electronic Arts and BioWare are aiming for a release this year. However, very few people expected that anyway."

Nevertheless, BioWare sees itself facing an exciting year, as can be seen in the last official statement declared it to be a game. It stated:
"We want to let you all know that we are continuing to work diligently on developing the next single-player experience for Dragon Age. We look forward to sharing more details with you next year."

There has also been speculation about a purely single-player experience, released exclusively on the new consoles and PC. Furthermore, Tevinter will likely be the main setting, and Solas, the Dread Wolf, will probably also play a role.
Previously, EA was apparently also aiming for a live service concept, which they had to implement after the disaster surrounding... Anthem but rejected it again.
When will we next officially hear about Dragon Age 4 It is currently unclear when we will hear it.
