Bandai Namco revealed extensive new details about 'Dragon Ball FighterZ' at Gamescom this week, including a CollectorZ Edition. They also showcased new gameplay footage, scenes, more information about the story mode, and, as a highlight, announced a planned beta test.
A European Dragon Ball FighterZ CollectorZ Edition will be available from early 2018 and promises a stunning 18 cm Goku diorama in exclusive "Manga Dimension" colorways, three art boards, and a unique SteelBook. Both the CollectorZ Edition and the standard versions come with a pre-order bonus for all players, including access to the public beta, early unlock of two characters (SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta), and two exclusive lobby avatars.
The new Dragon Ball FighterZ trailer released today offers a glimpse into the story mode, the new characters, and the Party Match mode. In these gameplay shots, Android 16 and the duo Android 17 & Android 18 fight alongside Krillin and Piccolo. With Android 16's resurrection and the invasion of the Mysterious Army Corps, the super warriors seem to be losing. What's going on? The Party Match mode is also introduced along with the new content. In this new online battle mode, one player leads six other characters in an intense 3 vs. 3 fight.
