Square Enix released 'Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree and the Tyrant from the Deep' today, Friday, a game created in collaboration with ω-Force and Koei Tecmo.
In Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree and the Tyrant from the Deep, a dark shockwave sweeps through the city of Arboria, and the monsters that once lived peacefully alongside humans are unleashed into a frenzy. Players take on the role of either the hero Lucian or the heroine Rita, joining a party of fan-favorite characters from previous Dragon Quest games, including Alena, Bianca, and Yangus, to bring the rampaging monster hordes back to their senses and restore order to the kingdom! It will take more than brute force to defeat these monsters, so players have the option to summon monsters with Monster Medals to their side. Additionally, equipment can be upgraded, items looted, and character abilities customized to take down even the most formidable foes.
For players in the West, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree and the Tyrant from the Deep will also include all additional downloadable content released since its Japanese launch, free of charge upon release. The title will also feature both English and Japanese voice acting, allowing fans to customize the audio to their liking.
