Dragon Quest Heroes II – New trailer introduces more characters

Square Enix is ​​introducing new characters today with a new trailer for 'Dragon Quest Heroes II', including some favorites from 'Dragon Quest IV', as well as the entire crew of the upcoming game.

Also featured is traveling merchant and newcomer to the series, Torneko Talun, along with his collection of unusual weapons, which he uses to blast through hordes of monsters. The video also offers a glimpse of fan favorites and returning heroes: Alena, the lively martial artist, and Kyrill, her loyal bodyguard. Square Enix has also compiled additional character videos on their YouTube channel.

  • Rafael, Resa & Meditschi Watch as ambitious cadets and new characters Rafael and Resa meet the helpful, healing slime Meditschi and together they lead a group of heroes on their mission to defeat evil and save the war-torn world!
  • Zora & Caesar – Zora is the axe-wielding emissary of the High King, and Caesar is the cool and angry prince of Aridia, both of whom are new characters in Dragon Quest Heroes II.
  • Maribel & Ruff – Meet Maribel and Ruff, the young heroes from Dragon Quest VII, who have been mysteriously transported to the world of Dragon Quest Heroes II and must fight to prove themselves as valuable additions to the party.
  • Schnitz & Vincent Schnitz and Vincent from Dragon Quest VI join the enemy forces and unleash their destructive power against the heroes. This raises the question of whose side they are truly fighting on.
  • Mina & Maya The sisters from Dragon Quest IV may look very similar, but that's where the similarities end. With very different tastes in weapons, spells, and fashion, the siblings meet the heroes and reveal their powerful abilities in battle.
  • Jessica & Angelo Meet two impressive heroes from Dragon Quest Heroes II: returning character Jessica and newcomer Angelo. They'll fire arrows, cast spells, and unleash powerful attacks to repel hordes of monsters.

Dragon Quest Heroes II will be released on April 25, 2017. However, a playable demo is already available in the PlayStation Store.
