Besides Dragon Quest 12: The Flames of Fate Square Enix also has today Dragon quest treasures A new spin-off focusing on Erik and Mia has been announced.
Here is a message from producer Taichi Inuzuka:
"We are working on a completely new spin-off of the Dragon Quest series called Dragon Quest Treasures. You may have already seen sketches of Erik and Mia as children, and through various twists, they have now become the main characters of Treasures."
I can't reveal too much about the game at the moment, but I can tell you about some key themes: "Erik and Mia's childhood" and "treasure hunting." It's a role-playing game, but nothing like a traditional one, and that's almost all I can say right now.
On which platforms Dragon quest treasures The release date is currently unclear, however, as with Dragon Quest 12, a simultaneous worldwide release is being pursued, for which the company is working closely with Dragon Quest designer Yuji Horii.
