Berlin-based studio Yager, Greybox and Sixfoot have released a comprehensive update for their class-based spaceship action game 'Dreadnout', which includes new hero ships, optimized loading times and other general improvements.
Among other things, the command wheel has been improved, now featuring a "zero zone" in the center. This prevents you from accidentally issuing commands you didn't intend. Pressing the controller's touchpad will no longer immediately select and issue a command. Additionally, there are improvements to the orbit screen (before battle), which now provides a better overview of your teammates' ships. The ship selection screen now opens automatically, allowing you to view your teammates' ship configurations and coordinate before battle.
Furthermore, the Havoc mode interface has been updated, a new scoring event called "Taking Damage" has been added, and the statistics page has been revamped, along with various other optimizations. Full details can be found on the official website.
