While the world eagerly awaits the final design of the PlayStation 4, the new DualShock 4 controller appears to be in its final version.

Like virtually all new electronic products, the DualShock 4 controller had to apply for and obtain approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which, according to publicly available documents, has now officially happened.

The DualShock 4 controller bears the model number CUH-ZCT1U, features Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a new light bar, a touchpad, the usual face buttons, a digital D-pad, shoulder buttons, two analog sticks, and also includes the Share button and Options button, which probably replaces the SELECT button.

Sony hasn't yet revealed the price of the DualShock 4 controller. Compared to the DualShock 3 controller, which costs around €60, the DualShock 4 controller probably won't be cheap.
