Surprisingly, Sony has released a new and official accessories A back button attachment for the DualShock 4 controller has been announced, allowing for individual configuration.
The design includes two programmable and easy-to-grip back buttons, which, among other things, can reduce your reaction time and make you more flexible while gaming.
Features at a glance
- Responsive back buttons and a high-resolution OLED screen: The two back buttons can be assigned up to 16 different actions, such as triangle, circle, R1, and R2, to name just a few. They also offer excellent tactile feedback, allowing you to jump and glide without any delay. The attachment also features an integrated OLED display that provides real-time information about button assignments.
- Fully configurable: A dedicated button lets you remap the back buttons during gameplay, ensuring you're prepared for any game. You can also save and select up to three different profiles for use in various games. Additionally, there's a headset pass-through for connecting a wired 3,5 mm headset to the controller.
- Developed by PlayStation: The product has been tested and approved for all your favorite PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR titles. It was designed with the ergonomics of the DS4 in mind.
The Dualshock 4 back button attachment will be available from February 14, 2020, and will cost €39,99.
