With ,Dying Light 2An exciting release is coming this year when Techland launches the sequel to their zombie game. Some new details have surfaced today.
Techland confirms in an interviewVehicles will play a significantly larger role this time around, and will likely be available from the start of the game. However, you'll have to earn them first, as Lead Designer Tymon Smektala explains:
"In Dying Light 2, you can drive vehicles. First, however, you have to introduce them to the world by helping the Scavengers with fuel production. I'd rather not say too much, but you will find places to drive these vehicles. [...] and there will likely be even more places to drive, as we support the game after its release."
Smektala went on to discuss the factions once more, noting that there will be significantly more of them this time around, including smaller groups vying for dominance, for example, to secure optimal locations for outposts. Furthermore, the factions' activities will impact the story and the environment, such as when they produce medicine, fuel, and other such things.
Dying Light 2 thus appears to be not just a simple sequel, but a significant further development of the original, which is now four years old and still has a huge fan base.
