Fans of the lovable Yarni from this year's platformer hit 'Unravel' will be treated to a sequel, as publisher Electronic Arts confirmed today in its latest quarterly report.

The title is once again being developed by Coldwood Interactive, but there are no details yet regarding the content or when Unravel 2 will be released. Development will likely take another one to two years, so a little more patience is required until then.

“It has been incredible to see the community’s love for Yarni tu, both in the game and beyond. At EA, we work with creative and passionate development teams, in our own studios and with partners. That’s why I’m proud to announce that we have entered into a new agreement with Coldwood to work with them on the next project.” said EA's Executive Vice President, Patrick Söderlund.

Unravel introduced Yarny – a new and utterly lovable playable character made from a single piece of yarn that slowly unwinds as you move. In his first adventure, you explored a unique and breathtaking world inspired by the scenery of northern Scandinavia, experiencing a visually stunning, physics-based puzzle.
