Konami today revealed details of the planned eFootball 2023 Update reveals, which includes an update to season data, rosters and more.
eFootball Returning for its second year, the game brings updated player data and summer transfers. With its continued free-to-play model, the publisher offers fans the latest updates to the football simulation, including updated squads and stadiums for the majority of partner and licensed clubs.
New clubs and licenses
In eFootball 2023 AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, the current titleholders of the Italian top division and cup competition, are returning as former partners. The complete squads of both clubs, their kits, and the iconic stadium they share—the San Siro—will be introduced.
Under an exclusive licensing agreement, the BBVA MX league will be in eFootball 2023 implemented, with all 18 Mexican clubs, impressive replicas of the players and the historic Estadio Azteca.

Konami hasn't just added new clubs, though. English right-back Trent Alexander Arnold and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes join the already high-profile player ambassadors, such as Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., and Takefusa Kubo.
With the new eFootball Two new card types will also be introduced for the main game mode, "Dream Team": "Epic" and "Highlight." "Epic" cards will focus on players from throughout football history, celebrating their outstanding seasons. "Highlight" cards will relate to the current season and showcase current players who are captivating the world of football in the 2022/23 season.
The latest Club Packs
With the new signings from the Italian top clubs AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano, as well as the Mexican club "Club America", eFootball 2023 Club Packs for all three clubs are included, allowing players to expand their dream team with a complete squad in one fell swoop. Even newcomers can build a strong foundation with these packs, as they have access to 11 top-class squad members from some of the best clubs in the world.
“Trial Match” clubs have been significantly expanded
Previously, eFootball players could choose one of nine partner clubs when playing offline in "Trial Matches". eFootball 2023 will expand this selection to 26 clubs, including: AC Milan, FC Internazionale Milano, AS Roma, SSC Napoli, Club America and Santos FC.
