Konami has announced that it has acquired the exclusive rights to two of Italy's biggest football clubs, AC Milan and FC International (Inter Milan), for its football simulation “eFootball”. From the 2024/25 season, “eFootball” will thus be the only football simulation to use the official branding of these two traditional clubs.
This strategic partnership builds on existing collaborations that began in 2022. Konami is not only the official partner for club branding within the game world, but also supports team training by sponsoring training apparel. With this development, the publisher strengthens its position in the football simulation market, particularly in Italy, where clubs such as Atalanta Bergamo and Lazio Rome are already among the company's partners.

EA attacks AS Roma and SSC Napoli
In return, EA secured new and exclusive partnerships with "EA Sports FC 25". Among the most significant collaborations are the exclusive marketing and licensing partnerships with Italian football clubs. AS Roma and SSC Napoli, two of the country's largest clubs.
