Paradox Interactive and Romero Games today announced the release of their upcoming strategy title, 'Empire of Sin'was postponed from spring to autumn 2020.
Ebba Ljungerud, CEO of Paradox Interactive, and Brenda Romero of Romero Games explain the change:
“We at Paradox Interactive, together with our partners at Romero Games, have an ambitious vision for Empire of Sin. Therefore, we have decided that we need more development time.”says Ebba Ljungerud, CEO at Paradox. "This allows us to deliver a game that our community deserves and that meets our standards."
"The challenge of developing a game like no one has ever developed before is precisely that – developing a game like no one has developed before. It takes time to get everything right, and it gives us some unique opportunities. I'm grateful that we now have the extra time to give the game the necessary polish."“ says Brenda Romero of Romero Games. The support and enthusiasm of our community for Empire of Sin is simply incredible. We hope that when players finally explore the Chicago we've created, they'll be convinced that the wait was worth it!
Empire of Sin plunges players into the heart of Prohibition-era Chicago, showcasing the glitz and glamour of the Roaring Twenties through the eyes of an organized crime syndicate. It's up to the players to pull the strings, control the gang, and dominate the neighborhood.
