Disney Interactive has just officially announced Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, which has been making the rounds in recent weeks.
Unlike the 2012 original, Epic Mickey 2 will be a musical with voice actors for all the characters. A co-op mode allows for seamless drop-in and drop-out gameplay. For example, while one player uses Mickey's paintbrush, the other can manipulate the electricity with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and a remote control. In single-player mode, Oswald acts as a helpful partner, whether playing alone or with a friend. Furthermore, other improvements are promised, such as a more user-friendly camera.
Epic Mickey 2 is in development for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The release date is still unknown. A first screenshot is attached.
