Rockfish is currently showing the first gameplay scenes from 'ever space 2', which was only announced at gamescom this year.
In contrast to the roguelike concept of its predecessor, EVERSPACE 2 is an open-world space shooter with classic RPG elements and persistent player progression, as well as a much larger number of player ships and significantly expanded storytelling.
Furthermore, it is promised that the title will significantly surpass its predecessor in both audiovisual quality and scope, which is also reflected in the considerably higher development budget.
Everspace 2 is expected to be released at the end of 2020.
