Codemasters comments on this:

"In the 2006 season, this model was driven by Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella. The R26 achieved 8 out of a possible 18 victories, started from pole position seven times, and set the fastest lap time five times. No other car achieved more wins than the R26 that season. Alonso won the World Championship title that year, and Renault also secured the Constructors' Championship for the second consecutive time."

F1 2017 will be available from August 25, 2017 and, in addition to numerous improvements to the multiplayer mode, will also feature a brand new Championship mode.
