An Xbox One and Windows 10 version of the popular 'Fallout Shelter' has been available for a few days now, so the question now arises whether the game will also be released for PS4.
Bethesda's Marketing Executive Pete Hines has taken up the matter, but considers a port rather unlikely. The reason for this is quite plausible. Fallout Shelter wasn't explicitly developed for Xbox One, but for Windows as a universal platform, which allows Xbox One players to play it on their console.
dunno. We didn't make it for Xbox. We made it for universal windows platform, which supports a variety of devices

While a PS4 version isn't entirely out of the question, it would require more work than the Windows version. However, even without a native PlayStation 4 version, the game is available for free on most mobile operating systems.
