Flashbacks or the future of the wasteland?
An intriguing question is to which timeline the scenes shown belong. According to the Fallout -Films-Account suggests these sets could be from a pre-war sequence. Since his fate in Fallout: New Vegas Since the character's identity was determined by the player, it's possible that he will only appear in the series through flashbacks.
But the post-apocalypse is also likely to play a major role. After all, season 1 ended with a teaser suggesting that the main characters will travel to New Vegas. Furthermore, other set leaks indicate that the series will also feature locations like Novac – a small settlement on the road to Vegas.
