Ubisoft apparently plans to release further additional content for Far Cry 3, as Ubisoft's Montreal CEO Yannis Mallat stated in an interview.
While it's too early to discuss specific plans, as nothing has been announced in that direction, they're pleased that Far Cry fans still exist. According to Mallat, if the quality is there, fans will want to play it as often as possible. And that's what they're trying to achieve.
Meanwhile, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, a kind of arcade-style spin-off, appeared, but nobody is sure what exactly it is.
According to official statements, Far Cry 3 sold approximately 4,5 million copies worldwide. Furthermore, Ubisoft assures fans that they won't have to wait as long for the next installment.
