Ubisoft might be working on a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrade for Far Cry 5 work that was saved for the fifth anniversary of the open-world shooter.
That is at least what is suggested by Twitter where a highly requested feature for Far Cry 5 which promises something fans have been waiting for a long time. It says:
"Celebrate our 5th anniversary with us over the next three weeks. Stay tuned for what's to come, including a highly requested feature for next-gen consoles."
Whether this is a full upgrade for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S or a 60fps patch, as recently implemented in other Ubisoft games, remains to be seen. The latter seems the most likely scenario.
