“Finishing such a big game for millions of people around the world is always exciting. However, at the start of development, we had no idea we’d be finishing a game in the middle of a global pandemic. That changed everything,” says Navid Khavari, Narrative Director at Ubisoft Toronto. “We started development in a state-of-the-art studio and later found ourselves working from home, facing unique challenges we never anticipated. Looking back, it was amazing to see the entire team come together for a true passion project, despite the physical distance.”
