The highly anticipated PlayStation VR shooter 'Farpoint' will be released this coming May, and a new Aim Controller has been specially developed for it. This controller will be available as a bundle with the game, which Sony presents today.

In addition to the standalone version of the shooter, the Aim Controller provides an even greater sense of immersion. Both will be released together for €89,99. It is currently unclear whether the Aim Controller will also be available separately. Farpoint will also be released digitally as an option.

Pre-orders of Farpoint, whether stand-alone or bundled, also include the Red Planet Wanderer Spacesuit – an exclusive UEP skin that gives you a stand-out look in the world of Farpoint.

Online co-op mode confirmed

Furthermore, the online co-op mode was also confirmed today, which is described as follows:

"In this extra mode, you can team up with a friend and enter previously completed levels to defeat hordes of enemies side by side, while racking up points for eliminations and precision."

Farpoint will be released on May 17, 2017.

(Update)

The bundle is available for pre-order now for €99,99. It is currently unknown whether the AIM controller will also be available separately.
