EA SPORTS today presents the complete tracklist for FIFA 12. A total of 39 artists from 15 countries have created the soundtrack for the upcoming season.

As in every year, EA SPORTS has assembled a special mix of genre-crossing sounds from all corners of the globe for its FIFA series, capturing and reflecting the passion for football in each country. The FIFA 12 soundtrack features new tracks from The Ting Tings, CSS, and Kasabian, as well as popular tracks from Chase & Status, TV On The Radio, Foster The People, The Strokes, and Thievery Corporation.

This year's soundtrack is refreshed by international artists who have made their breakthrough. Among them are The Medics from the Netherlands, Bloco Bleque from Brazil, The Vaccines, Monarchy and Graffiti6 from England, Naked & Famous from New Zealand, Little Dragon from Sweden, as well as the American indie rock bands GIVER, Grouplove and Portugal The Man.

“We are very pleased to be represented again this year with two top-class acts from Germany in the international soundtrack and thus to offer German musicians a platform abroad,” says Björn Vöcking, Head of Product Marketing EA SPORTS. "The two acts are a perfect fit for the FIFA series. Rapper and football fan Marteria was on the verge of becoming a professional footballer a few years ago, and the Hamburg-based electro-pop duo Digitalism is already on the FIFA soundtrack for the second time."

"We believe that FIFA soundtracks must always be more than just a collection of tracks," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing at EA. “We wanted a true international showcase that includes dozens of nations and encompasses virtually every genre of music. We want to bring the world a little closer together by uniting football and music culture.”

FIFA 12 was voted "Best Console Game" at Gamescom last month and received the "E3 Game Critics Award" for "Best Sports Game" at E3 2011. FIFA 12 will be available in stores starting September 29th. Football fans who purchase the EA SPORTS Season Ticket will receive digital access to FIFA 12 three days before its official release.
