“It’s simply incredible that so many people are playing The Journey.” Says Adetomiwa Edun, the actor who plays Alex Hunter. “The feedback on social media has been phenomenal – fans calling for Alex Hunter during big games, it’s just surreal. I can’t wait to see where Alex’s journey goes from here.”

The Journey helped FIFA 17 reach 20% more active players in its first week than FIFA 16 in the same period. Other modes are also proving incredibly popular, with over 366 million matches played across all platforms in FIFA 17 Ultimate Team. Fans enjoyed new events like FUT Ones to Watch and sought challenges in the new competitive mode, FUT Champions. In November, fans can also register for the EA SPORTS FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship Series, which is part of the FIFA 17 competitive season.
