Those who pre-ordered "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn" were actually looking forward to early access to the MMORPG this Saturday, however, there are numerous stumbling blocks.
After the 6 GB installation, players are greeted with an error message: "The servers are currently overloaded, please log in again later."
Director Naoki Yoshida has officially apologized and asked for patience. Until the release on August 27th, the servers will have limited capacity and are expected to launch successfully. We are also currently unable to log in with our copy, so we will have to wait until the launch date.
