Who previously promised, Square Enix is showing the prologue to 'Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn' today, which gives a small taste of the now final chapter of the role-playing game.
In Ardyn, players experience a brand-new story from the perspective of Ardyn Lucis Caelum. The episode takes place 35 years before the events of Final Fantasy XV and follows the infamous villain as he escapes imprisonment and enters the Realm of Darkness.
Players can use Ardyn's villainous powers to take down enemies in a demonic manner, as well as move freely across the map of Insomnia with the "Shadow Glide" ability. Fans of Final Fantasy XV will see familiar faces and meet exciting new characters such as the scientist Verstael Besithia and the priestess Aera Mirus Fleuret.
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn will be released on March 26, 2019, and will then finally conclude the game.
