Square Enix has released another small status update on the current state of 'Final Fantasy XV' and explains what fans can look forward to in the future.
This includes the planned VR experience, which will continue to be released, along with the planned DLCs and regular updates. According to Square Enix, approximately 70 percent of the original development team is still involved in these tasks. They intend to support Final Fantasy XV for as long as possible, so content is currently planned for at least another year.
First up this February are the Booster Packs, the PS4 Pro optimization, followed by the Gladio episode in March and the Episode 13 update. More details are available soon. Here again.
Despite the subsequent expenses, Final Fantasy XV is already profitable. It reached the break-even point on its very first day, undoubtedly due in part to the 5 million copies sold during its release week.
