Although Ubisoft's combat title 'For Hinor' features a single-player component, the game requires a constant online connection. This had already been speculated about in recent days after an updated box art suggested it.

When asked, the publisher approved He now also does this, referring to certain elements that the campaign and the multiplayer mode share.

"We can confirm that For Honor is an always-online experience. Some progress elements that are provided online are spread across the story and multiplayer modes. Players must therefore be connected to the internet at all times to play For Honor."

For Honor will be released on February 14, 2017.
