Following the launch of the PlayStation 4 in the two main territories, Sony is now aiming to launch its cloud service Gaikai, at least in the USA.

A first beta test is scheduled for early 2014, with a launch following in the third quarter of 2014. In Europe, however, patience will still be required, because as it heißtA launch in this country is probably not expected before 2015.

According to SCE CEO Andrew Wilson, there is no specific date for when Gaikai will be fully available in Europe. He described it as a new way of delivering content, which feels good in principle, but emphasized the importance of quality for the consumer, which ultimately needs to be proven. This is partly dependent on broadband expansion and the company's own infrastructure, which needs to be developed accordingly.

They are working hard on it, but cannot currently give a date for Europe.
