Netflix's Geeked Week ended on June 10th, leaving behind a trail of impressions and leaks from the world of movies, series, animation, and games. The fifth and final day of the event, in particular, caused a stir among some gaming fans, as it featured several major announcements. Here's a summary of what we can expect in the gaming sector in the near future.

Dragon Age: Absolution

The popular role-playing game is getting an animated adaptation on Netflix, and a teaser and poster for the series were presented at the event. Honestly, it looks very promising!

Tekken Bloodline

It was probably only a matter of time before the iconic Japanese fighting game got its own anime. Chief Producer Katushiro Harada presented exclusive clips from the series during a Netflix livestream and hinted at the backstory of one of the most popular characters in the game series.

Shadow and Bone: Destinations

There are also some exciting new mobile games on the way. In the single-player RPG mobile game Shadow in Bone, players get the chance to step into the shoes of the series' most popular characters and travel across the Grishaverse.

Too Hot to Handle

Yes, even trash TV has a place in Netflix's heart, and fans of the reality series can look forward to a new game. While the exact details of the game are still unclear, it will certainly feature plenty of temptation and nudity.

The House of Paper

Perhaps the biggest name in the business is this project. With a mobile version of the hit series "Money Heist," Netflix is aiming to bring as many series fans as possible into the gaming world. A single-player game full of action and adventure, where the goal is to rob a casino in order to ultimately help a good friend of the famous professor – that's what awaits you soon with "La Casa de Papel."

The Queen's Gambit Chess

Fans of the award-winning series should pay attention here, even if they aren't particularly interested in chess. The trailer shown during the event gives you a first glimpse of the various game locations, the puzzles, and especially the online matches against players from around the world or familiar faces from the series.

The Cuphead Show!

Cuphead and his brother Mugman also got their moment in the spotlight during Geeked Week. Fans of the video game adaptation can look forward to new episodes with further adventures of the two lively brothers very soon.

Lucky Moon

A platformer in the style of Japanese folklore, featuring mystical temples, hidden dungeons, and a mysterious past – all this awaits you when Netflix releases Lucky Luna soon. Interestingly, there's no source material; the game is essentially a "Netflix Original."

Desta: The Memories between

An intense game of dodgeball, but also a story full of relationships, emotions, and tragedy. If you want to know how all these elements fit together, you can watch the first teaser for the game here.

Reigns: Three Kingdoms

The game series in which an entire kingdom can be controlled will also find its way to Netflix. The story will, of course, revolve around ancient China and kick off an epic saga.

land nil

A city-builder that clearly addresses the climate crisis and offers you the opportunity to bring nature back to this broken world using technology and other mechanisms. Again, no original work, just a game from Netflix.

poinpy

A cute game where the goal is to climb higher and higher and feed a big blue beast. The game gets progressively harder with each round, reminiscent of early smartphone games.

DOTA: Dragon's Blood

Here, fans were able to get a first look at the third season of the fantasy adaptation, and here too the series looks very impressive.

Wild Things: Animal Adventures

Help cute little creatures increase their population and bring them back to their natural habitats by doing more and more for the little animals with small puzzle tasks.

Sonic prime

Probably the biggest name besides Money Heist – Sonic. Our beloved hedgehog is also getting an animated series on Netflix, and a trailer has already been released.

Raji: Ancient Epic

The Indian game Raji certainly has fans not only in its birthplace of India, but all over the globe. It's therefore hardly surprising that this title is also coming to Netflix. The young orphan girl faces a demonic invasion, and her primary goal is to save her little brother from the evil Lord Mahabalasura.

Spiritfarer

It's not the first time a Netflix production has dealt with death, but it's certainly never been done quite like this. The relaxed game, which revolves around Stella, who transports the souls of the deceased, is being adapted by Netflix and shouldn't be long in coming. Great emotional depth is practically guaranteed.

Castlevania: Night

Last year, Geeked Week ended with a very interesting announcement: Castlevania would be getting a Netflix series. A year later, we finally have the long-awaited first look at the project.
