'Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered' has just been released, and now a remake of 'Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3' is reportedly in the works at Activision.
The claims Currently, an insider who was also correct about the leaks regarding Modern Warfare and Warzone is at the helm. In the case of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered, there will also only be one campaign, as Activision doesn't want to divide the community too much with different multiplayer modes, even though the MW2 multiplayer was also supposedly already finished as a remake.
According to the insider, both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered have been finished since 2018, but were held back due to the Dallas shooting at that time. The insider believes that the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered could happen quite soon, as the current MW2 is apparently performing quite well.
As with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, the re-release of Modern Warfare 3 will also have a timed exclusivity period, which will probably last for one month.
However, it is unclear to what extent this information is actually accurate, as there is no confirmation from Activision.
