Illfonic has released the next free DLC for Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed announced, which will be available from next Thursday.
Every Ghostbusters fan has surely dreamed of taking on a drooling Class 7 creature from another dimension. Now that's possible. On the other hand, many fans have probably also wanted the power to unleash ultimate fury. The new DLC offers fans the chance to experience both. Plus, there are new minions, AI, and a completely new map that will keep fans entertained late into the night.
This is what the new DLC delivers
- New map, The Courthouse Strange things are happening at the courthouse, making work there more difficult. Decades of dark machinations and supernatural contact have turned the courthouse into a center of ghostly activity. Corridors, offices, and courtrooms are interconnected to create a unique setting.
- New ghost types – Possessor Ghost type + 3 variants Scuttle, Hellion, and the infamous Terror Sentinel introduce new gameplay possibilities with the Possessor Ghost type. Players can utilize unique abilities and take control of civilians and Ghostbusters with the Ultimate Possession.
- New AI type: Drudges From the depths of the spirit realm come the Drugdes to help. These small creatures, summoned by Tobin, assist the ghost in haunting the building and frightening its inhabitants. Ghost hunters should focus on quickly eliminating these spectral helpers. The ghost can also summon more creatures using the Rift.
- New Minion Ability: Trap Minions A single minion is hidden by the Ghost on the ground or inside objects. When its stasis field is triggered, it awakens and clings to its surprised prey.
- Extreme Ghostbusters cosmetics, equipment skins and other customization options Cosmetic items and equipment inspired by the Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon are now unlockable via Side Hustles and Research Contracts. The team receives new shoes, skirts, kilts, and various makeup styles. Shirt logos can now be used on matching tops.
- General improvements – The equipment upgrade menu is being reworked, there are improvements to the ghost or Ghostbuster bots, bug fixes, and balance and comfort adjustments to improve the experience.
