Illfonic has unveiled the Year 2 roadmap for “Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed”, which includes some content related to the current movie and extras for Slimer fans.
According to IllFonic Chief Creative Officer Jared Gerritzen, the goal for the second year is to recapture the true Ghostbusters feeling, using several current events as inspiration. These include, of course, the recent film "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" and the franchise's 40th anniversary, including the Real Slimer.
“We’ve been so focused on creating an immersive world that fans would recognize and appreciate,” said Jared Gerritzen, Chief Creative Officer of IllFonic, in a press release. “Our goal now is to double down on that feeling. As a longtime Ghostbusters fan, I want to be immersed in the story. Our drive for downloadable content in Year Two: to increase the fun, to enhance the experience.”
