Ghostwire: Tokyo – 'The Spider's Thread' Update Announced

One year after the original release, Ghostwire: Tokyo a new content update, and it's also making its way to Xbox Series X|S at the same time. The “The spider's threadThe update adds new content and an additional game mode to the game, presenting an even more sinister version of Tokyo.

In the new game mode, players fight their way through 30 levels. The goal? Easier said than done: reach the end of the final level to unlock new skills and collect currency that can be redeemed for upgrades.

New locations, enemies, and abilities

The "The spider's threadThe update also expands the main game with new locations, including a haunted middle school. These new areas also include new missions and puzzles to solve. Meanwhile, the main story features extended cutscenes that give players a deeper insight into the story of Ghostwire: Tokyo (our review) grant, in which the duo of Akito and KK try to thwart Hannya's treacherous plan and save Tokyo from destruction.

Finally, players can look forward to new foes – dangerous new visitors to Tokyo, such as the Silent Gaze or the elusive Vengeance. To defeat these new enemies, Akito will need to utilize new abilities, including the charged attack and a powerful counterattack.

All this new content will be available from April 12th. Ghostwire: Tokyo itself will also be available from next week. on PlayStation Plus represented.
