The app is available for Android and iOS and allows players to create their own racetracks using environments from the game, including Eiger from Gran Turismo 5, Andalusia (Spain), and Death Valley, which can be customized to the player's liking, including curves, track width, and banked turns. The trackside can also be freely designed with trees, plants, signs, grandstands, buildings, barriers, and much more.

By connecting to the PlayStation Network, the track can be directly transferred to Gran Turismo 6 and driven in Arcade Mode. It can also be shared with friends and played in Custom Online Lobbies.

The app will be available for free on Android and iOS starting tomorrow. There will be brief maintenance work in the meantime, taking place between 6 and 8 a.m. Details about update 1.21 are below:

  • “GT Academy 2015” has been removed from the [SPECIAL EVENTS] section because the online qualification phase has ended.
