Gran Turismo 7 – Development was accelerated through outsourcing

The development of Gran Turismo 7 The process was apparently accelerated after Polyphony Digital outsourced some parts of it to external companies.

This information comes from a post by Specialist Automotive 3D CGI Artist HansaPallavi Srinivasan, who works for a company in India. They have been developing various models of the vehicles since 2018, some of which have already been shown in [location missing]. Gran Turismo Sport are available. This allowed the development time of a single model to be reduced from 6 to 3 months.

According to Srinivasan, the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and the Porsche 911 993 Carrera RS Club Sport were created for Polyphony Digital and implemented in the game. Some of Srinivasan's work can currently be admired on ArtStation. He was primarily responsible for the interior and exterior and is also working on an ongoing project. According to Srinivasan, the data used to create the vehicles is based on 3D scans from Polyphony Digital and not on the manufacturers' CAD data.
