The original GRID game is considered a masterpiece among racing games, which, among other things, introduced the groundbreaking Rewind system to the racing genre.
With GRID 2, currently being developed by Codemasters Racing, they aim to deliver a worthy successor and arguably their best game to date. The game's particularly striking feature will be the seamless blend of pure arcade fun and a more nuanced simulation feel.
“We want to create the most comprehensive racing experience out there,” Executive Producer Clive Moody said so. "And within this, we want to deliver the perfectly distilled racing experience."
GRID 2 will be released in summer 2013.
