The battle royale title 'H1Z1' by Daybreak will be equipped with a ranked feature, as announced today by the developers behind it.
This feature will be introduced in Season 3 and will reveal all performance and statistics of a match, allowing for dynamic tracking. Ranks will be divided into six categories – Master, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze – each with three sub-ranks.
"Individual match results will count towards your rank after you have completed at least 5 matches in this game mode. Match results are determined by your overall placement, with bonuses for kills, assists, team revives, top-10 finishes, and wins. The overall ranking is determined by a scoring formula that adds up cumulative match results throughout the season, with deductions for poor placements, which players can accumulate after reaching Platinum rank. The leaderboards also record the total number of matches played and the number of matches played throughout the season. All leaderboards are reset at the end of the season."
Daybreak hopes that this will create a healthy and transparent competition that promotes social cohesion.
