The gameplay blends classic firearms with the infernal powers of the Genesis configuration puzzle box. We'll be using pyrokinesis, telekinesis, and the infamous Hell Chains against cultists and hellspawn. Sounds like a seriously brutal sandbox. Let's see if the chain mechanics feel mechanically satisfying or if they're just mindless quick-time events.
Fair prices and collector's editions
The project remains surprisingly affordable in terms of price. The standard edition costs €39,99, both digitally and physically. For ten euros more, there's a deluxe edition, the exact contents of which are still under wraps. Pre-orders include two weapon skins: the Labyrinth Pistol and the Martyr's Saw Blade.
Those willing to spend more can already pre-order two Collector's Editions with physical collectibles on the official website. These automatically include all digital bonus content.
Saber Interactive has already proven with "Evil Dead" that they can handle horror licenses respectfully. The return of Doug Bradley and the focus on the puzzle box give cause for optimism. If the chain hit feedback is accurate and the labyrinth design remains frustration-free, we can expect a true highlight for gore connoisseurs in October. Skepticism remains regarding the story – a love rescue in the Hellraiser universe seems almost too tame for Clive Barker's original work.
