Konami is hosting a special event at the Cologne Musical Dome on Wednesday, August 13th, to celebrate its upcoming title Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

To mark gamescom, Europe's largest gaming fair, Hideo Kojima, the creator of the series, will personally present new gameplay footage from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The evening will also include a Q&A session with Kojima. The event takes place on Wednesday, August 13th, at the Musical Dome in Cologne (www.musical-dome.de), which has a capacity of 1.600 guests. The event starts at 8:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. Admission is free!

Entry is permitted as long as seats are available. MGS cosplayers will receive priority entry. In cooperation with selected media partners, Konami Digital Entertainment is also giving away VIP tickets for the best seats directly in front of the stage.

Attention: Due to the expected USK rating of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, admission to this event is restricted to those 18 and older, and ID checks will be conducted at the entrance! KONAMI is also thinking of fans and gamers who can't be at gamescom: The event will be broadcast exclusively and live from Cologne via Twitch, the world's leading video platform and community for gamers. The approximately one-hour show starts on August 13th at 8:00 PM and will be streamed on KONAMI's Twitch channel.
