Hideo Kojima doesn't want to make anything comparable to PT again.

After the success of 'PT' and the subsequent debacle of 'Silent Hills', Hideo Kojima does not want to develop anything comparable in the future.

In an interview said The Metal Gear creator has stated that while he wants to continue exploring the horror genre, he no longer wants to create anything like Predator. Kojima cites several reasons for this. Firstly, several developers have already adopted Predator's concept, so there's already a market for it. Secondly, he prefers to focus more on terror, with a different approach and perspective.

"I would definitely like to explore horror further, and by horror I don't mean horror as a genre, but more terror as a theme, which is an aspect that is very close to the interactivity of the uncanny. That would be something I would be interested in in the future."

Kojima emphasized that he always looks to the future and not back, which also suggests that there will be nothing like PT from him again.

Whether Konami will revisit the Silent Hills theme is completely unclear.
