Hitman: World of Assassination receives a new Elusive Target mission called "The Wizard." Wiz Khalifa is available to hunt for free until July 5, 2026.

IO Interactive is bringing musician Wiz Khalifa to the island of Sgàil in "Hitman World of Assassination" as a virtual target. The limited-time mission runs until July 5, 2026, and is free to play across all platforms.

Musician Wiz Khalifa takes on the role of Taylor Graves, a former boxer and Muay Thai fighter codenamed "The Wizard." The mission is set in the existing Ark Society level on the island of Sgàil.

Agent 47 must prevent an assassination attempt on the fictional tech CEO Tim Quinn. In terms of gameplay, this means a return to familiar territory, modified with new dialogue and adjusted NPC routines. The core gameplay remains unchanged. IO Interactive is using the proven live-service model to keep the existing map rotation fresh without massive development effort. It's efficient recycling. Nothing more.

Paid DLCs and the "Season of the Wizard"

Alongside the free mission, the developer is offering two cosmetic content packs for €4,99 each. "The Wizard Pack" unlocks permanent access to a two-stage Arcade mission. Anyone wanting to eliminate the target after July 5th will have to pay. The pack also includes cosmetic extras such as the Zigzag Suit and a Boombox.

The second add-on is called "World Champions Pack" and delivers sports-themed outfits and weapon skins, including a sporting rifle and a modified duck. Simultaneously, "Season of the Wizard" launches as a free roadmap, temporarily reactivating older celebrity missions such as those featuring Dimitri Vegas and Eminem.

Wiz Khalifa's appearance in "Hitman: World of Assassination" delivers solid content for hardcore fans who already play Hitman monthly. Technically and gameplay-wise, it doesn't reinvent the wheel, as IO Interactive primarily relies on asset reuse.

The artificial scarcity remains annoying: those who want to play the mission permanently in Arcade Mode will have to pay almost five euros. For casual players, the free period until July is perfectly sufficient.
