For the incredible success of Hogwarts legacy Avalanche Studios will thank its fans with a major update this summer.

Recently, PlayStation-exclusive content was released on other platforms, but there are no plans to release regular DLC. However, a major update is planned, which will bring several new features.

Avalanche Community Manager Chandler Wood announced this in an update on X at where it says:

“We are delighted that you are all looking forward to the free Hogwarts Legacy update this summer. We love seeing all the speculation and hopes about what will be included in this update, and while we are not quite ready to talk about it yet, I would like to share some expectations about what we are working on.”

"Our original wording, 'additional updates and features for the game,' was very deliberate. With this update, we want to express our appreciation to our players for the great reception the game has received."

Hogwarts Legacy 2 a live service game?

Meanwhile, it is suspected that Avalanche is involved. Hogwarts Legacy 2 works so that it always happens again Important notes Whether the game will also be a strong single-player experience is currently completely open.

Warner Bros. had recently promulgatedthat they want to focus even more on live service games and free-to-play, instead of just producing one-off successes like Hogwarts Legacy.

"Instead of just releasing a one-off console game, how can we develop a game, for example, around a Hogwarts legacy or Harry Potter, that is a live service where people can live and continuously work, build and play in this world?"

Fans are unlikely to be thrilled, given that Suicide Squad, a live-service game considered a flop, was recently released. Whether a franchise like this can be revived is another question. Hogwarts legacy The big question right now is whether anyone will sacrifice so carelessly.

Nobody needs that kind of in-game garbage. I hope they don't do that. I'd much rather have a nice sequel. I do have the Suicide Squad game, but I've deleted it now. This has no future, and they should quickly abandon any thoughts of it.
