Deep Silver today revealed further comprehensive details about the upcoming spring update and the 'Beyond the Walls' DLC for 'Homefront: The Revolution', including PS4 Pro support and the trial mode.
Beyond the Walls, the third and final single-game expansion for Homefront: The Revolution, now takes players to a completely new setting – the rural heartland of Pennsylvania. The game begins in Philadelphia, the last stronghold of the resistance, which is falling due to a massive counter-revolutionary operation by the KPA. As the second American Revolution seems to be crumbling, a glimmer of hope appears on the horizon for the desperate fighters. A NATO liaison contacts the resistance, promising information that could lead to the end of the KPA's nightmarish regime. This is their last chance to liberate the United States. Or will the KPA uncover the resistance before they can seize their final opportunity?
PS4 Pro Support
PlayStation 4 Pro owners have something to look forward to! The PS4 update not only adds HDR support, but also allows the game world to be rendered in a 1440p buffer before being upscaled to 4K, allowing Homefront: The Revolution to shine in a completely new graphical dimension.
Trial mode
The trial mode of Homefront: The Revolution is available now for Xbox One and from March 14th for PlayStation 4 and includes the “Red Zone” with four hours of single-player gameplay as well as unlimited access to the Resistance mode, the cooperative online mode in Homefront: The Revolution.
Beyond The Walls is now available for free to owners of the Homefront Expansion Pass or for individual purchase for €12,99.
