Ubisoft shows the official cinematic trailer and more gameplay scenes from Hyper scape, their new free-to-play battle royale shooter, which will soon be playable on consoles as well. With Hyper Scape, Ubisoft is aiming for successful concepts like Apex Legends.
Hyper Scape It was designed from the ground up as an intense, vertical, and fast-paced battle royale shooter. Three-player squads and solo players dive into the futuristic virtual city of Neo-Arcadia and engage in dynamic firefights, rapidly moving from narrow alleyways to open rooftops and deadly rooms.
In addition, Hyper Scape Hacks are special abilities scattered throughout the map that can be collected like weapons. Hacks provide offensive and defensive capabilities that can be adapted to individual playstyles. Examples include laying a mine, scanning for enemies, protecting your squad with a large wall, or becoming invisible to sneak up on opponents. Hacks can be intuitively combined and swapped. All hacks and weapons can be further enhanced using the Fusion feature.
Hyper Scape It also brings new innovations and a fresh dynamic to the battle royale genre. These include features like the sudden collapse, where the world of Neo-Arcadia dissolves into different areas, and the unique Echo feature, which allows players to remain in the game even after being eliminated. At the end of each match in Hyper Scape The showdown begins when the crown appears on the map. Players can win in two different ways: either they grab the crown and manage to carry it with their squad for 45 seconds, or they are the last surviving player or squad.
Hyper scape It launches later this year on consoles.
