It has been rumored for some time that Ubisoft is working on a sequel to Fenyx Rising Immortals works. Meanwhile, it is more likely to be a spin-off in a different culture.
As Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb mentioned in a podcast, the spin-off is being developed at Ubisoft Quebec and is currently called OxygenThe theme is supposed to be Hawaiian-Polynesian culture, but it still incorporates elements from Fenyx Rising Immortals, like the narrator in god form. Graphically, it also remains largely true to its style, but distances itself somewhat more from Zelda.
"It is in the early pre-production phase, there are some concept drawings and it may be released in 2025."
Ubisoft is interested
Ubisoft itself has always had a strong interest in a sequel, with which it wanted to build on existing knowledge and expand the saga.
